Description:
18-year old female 5'2" and weighing 190 pounds
with tuberous breasts, a result of a congenital abnormality underwent bilateral
breast augmentation and nipple reconstruction for profound breast asymmetry.
Patient’s right breast was 38C and left breast 38A. The breast augmentation was
performed through a peri-areolar (edge of nipple) incision using 300 cc smooth,
round silicone implant. The implant was placed in a dual plane, partially
beneath the pectoral muscle.
