Description:
The patient is a 68-year-old female presenting with facial laxity, neck laxity, and facial lipoatrophy. She expressed concerns with her jowls, her marionette lines, and nasolabial folds and underwent a facelift, neck lift, and facial fat transfer. The procedure involved a platysmaplasty to address the neck laxity and a facelift that included an extended SMAS to help address the jowls, recreate the jawline, and treat the midface laxity. In addition, to treat the volume loss, autologous fat transfer was performed using a micro-droplet technique with volume added to the marionette area to create a more youthful look and to the nasolabial folds to soften them.
