Treatment

Votiva treatment combines 2 innovative radio frequency devices FormaV and FractoraV to tighten loose tissues and reinforce vaginal skin structure and elasticity. FormaV is the first device used during Votiva treatment. The FormaV device is carefully inserted into the vaginal canal and emits radio frequency energy. FormaV passes through the vaginal canal, delivering RF energy to the skin€™s lower layers. Heat from the Votiva FormaV device achieves a tightening effect while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin fibers. The FormaV device is then applied externally to the labia majora and surrounding areas to enhance skin structure.*

FractoraV is then utilized to further stimulate collagen and resurface skin. The FractoraV device is equipped with micro-pins that are placed on the skin’s surface. The skin is slightly stretched and RF energy is delivered to external vaginal tissues to achieve natural-looking tightening results.*

Treatment Duration

3 Votiva treatments are typically recommended for optimal results. However, the exact number of Votiva sessions will depend on the specifics of your procedure, as well as your treatment goals. Votiva can be customized to address a variety of patient concerns, from aesthetics to functional issues.

Anesthesia Types

Numbing cream is applied to the vaginal area in preparation for Votiva treatment. An ultrasound gel is then applied to the FormaV device to reduce discomfort during your vaginal rejuvenation procedure. Since Votiva is non-surgical, there is no need for general or local anesthesia.*

Expectations

Votiva vaginal rejuvenation can be performed as an outpatient procedure at our New York City plastic surgery offices. Dr. Levine will first measure the vaginal canal to ensure precise and efficient treatment using FormaV. Numbing cream is then applied to the treatment site, while ultrasound gel is applied to the FormaV device. The FormaV wand is inserted into the vaginal canal and is carefully rotated during treatment to ensure symmetrical results.* Once the vaginal canal is treated, FormaV is then applied to external vaginal tissues. During the final phase of treatment, the FractoraV device is applied to the areas surrounding the labia. The exact length of your Votiva treatment will ultimately depend on the specifics of your procedure.

Post Procedure

Votiva patients can expect minimal downtime following radio frequency vaginal rejuvenation. You may experience minor discomfort or sensitivity within the initial days of recovery. Most patients can resume their daily activities immediately after completing Votiva treatment. Patients should wait approximately 1 week before having intercourse to allow for optimal healing.*

Results

Votiva can achieve long-lasting vaginal tightening results.
